What do you think is an happy life?

Hello everyone,I have been given an assignment from my muet teacher,Puan Akmal where I need to choose 3 pictures and today I will share my feelings in each three photos of them. These photos show the crises facing the world today, and the comparison in the photo shows the contrast between two conditions in different worlds. This photo was stitching by Ugur Gallenkus,  an Istanbul based artist, that uniquely depicts the contrast that we live in today. Most of Ugurgallen's works come from the contrast of life in peaceful countries and war countries, developed countries and underprivileged countries. He put together "war and peace" from all over the world by creating composite photos one by one, using visual impact to tell the world the contradictory world he saw.

Did you hear a phrase before? "A picture says a thousand words" which I think is very suitable for these photos. Let's start with the first photo below. This photo was taken by Amer Almohibany and was constructed by Ugur Gallenkus.

The structure on the left was taken when a Syrian government forces MIG-23 fighter-bomber drops a payload during a reported airstrike in the rebel-held area of Qabun, east of the capital Damascus on May 6, 2017. The picture on the right is a seagull. The fighter-bomber on the left symbolizes war and unpeacefulness and it’s clearly in sharp contrast with the seagull on the right, which symbolizes peace. I think we should be cherished that we are now in a peaceful country-Malaysia. There is no war, no serious climate change, nor natural disasters. We have learned to be grateful because we were only one who born in a peaceful country, but not in a peaceful era.

Then, we come to the following picture. From the photos we have seen above, we can see that the child on the left is healthy and happy while the child on the right is sad and weeping, and has no clothes to wear. In some developed countries, children at there were given clothes to wear, food to eat, and a place to live, but some of the children are picky eaters, wasting food, and blindly pursue luxury goods. The food, clothing and house they take for granted are the luxuries of some poor countries. Children who lived in poor countries are not thinking about what they want to play today, or whether they want to eat what kind of food today. Here I also hope that everyone can cherish the hard-won food, and don't be picky eaters, and don't waste food.

The news picture on the left won the 2015 AFP Picture of the Year Award. A Syrian man crying and looked at his daughter who was died in the airstrike. The picture on the right shows the child was sleeping peacefully in a comfortable bed. After seeing this photo, I can't help feeling distressed for the child on the left. At his age, shouldn't he enjoy his happy and carefree childhood? However, in war-torn countries, it is not toys or parents  that accompany children to grow up, but the environment that may threaten their lives at anytime, anywhere. I sincerely hope that the future world can achieve true peace, and there will be no more wars and sacrifices of innocent people.

These thrilling pictures and news constantly remind us of a peaceful country. The world has never been truly peaceful and no one can stay out of the cruelty of war. How do you feel when looking at these photos now? Many people say that young people are the hope for the future of the world. I hope that we can change the world someday in the future and create a peaceful era that belongs to us.Let's us return to the question of title, what do you think is an happy life?
